We were tasked with evolving this southern bourbon brand by rooting a creative direction in its expansive 200 note flavor profile and proud sponsorship of The Kentucky Derby. Working with photographer Sidney Bensimon to emphasize the beauty and visceral discovery of this drink, we created a library of brand and campaign images, GIFs, and video. Gleaming white backdrops set off the flash photography like that of a winner captured during a photo finish. Rich, textural elements reflect the more indulgent moments one might witness at The Derby. These images were injected into a newly evolved brand design direction of clean and open editorial-like compositions. Use of extra wide typography references their uniquely wide set bottle, designed specifically to take up more space on the shelf. All of these elements coming together in a spectacular way to exude the sensorial experience in a single sip of their crafted spirit.
